Why do I need to call with caller ID enabled?
Our telephone system only accepts calls with caller ID enabled. If you call anonymously, the call will be automatically rejected.
Especially with international calls, a connection may unexpectedly drop. With caller ID enabled, we can call you back immediately, allowing us to continue providing you with the best possible service.
How does the airport drop-off process work?
The driver arrives approximately 5 minutes before the scheduled time and will ring your doorbell or contact you by phone.
Your luggage is loaded into the vehicle, after which the driver waits until you are ready to depart.
The time specified during the booking is the departure time of the ride.
At the airport, you will be dropped off at the correct departure terminal, directly at the entrance. If desired, the driver will collect a baggage trolley for you and neatly place your luggage on it. This is the service of LuchthavenExpress.
Is being picked up just as easy as being dropped off?
Yes. When making a reservation, you can choose from several pickup locations. The most commonly selected option is pickup at the departure terminal, where the driver meets you at the correct door.
If you have limited mobility, you can make use of assistance via the STA desk. The driver will then pick you up directly at the door. Pickup at the arrivals hall is also possible.
Will I always have a private taxi?
Yes. LuchthavenExpress offers private taxi transfers only to and from airports in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. We do not operate shared rides.
Of course, you may share the taxi with family or friends. In that case, you can specify multiple pickup or drop-off addresses when making your reservation.
My flight is delayed. Do I need to call you?
No, that is not necessary. We monitor your flight automatically.
If your flight arrives earlier or later than scheduled, we will adjust the driver’s arrival time accordingly. In most cases, this means you will not have to wait.

What is the waiting time at the airport for pickup?
You decide how much time after landing you would like to be picked up.
For example, if you choose 60 minutes after landing, the driver will be ready for you 60 minutes after the actual landing time, even in case of delays. This way, you never have to worry about waiting times.
Can we be picked up from or dropped off at multiple addresses?
Yes, that is possible. You can enter multiple addresses during the booking process.
The fare calculator on our website will automatically calculate the correct price.

Isn’t a local taxi company cheaper than LuchthavenExpress?
That may seem logical, but in practice this is often not the case. Local taxi companies usually operate an airport transfer as a single, standalone trip and then have to return empty.
LuchthavenExpress operates nationwide and carries out a large number of airport transfers every day. This allows us to combine rides more efficiently, both outbound and return. By avoiding empty mileage, we are able to keep our rates competitive, while you benefit from a fixed price, a private taxi, and reliable service throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
How do you receive so many 5-star reviews?
Our reviews come from customers who have actually used our services. We do not work with purchased or filtered reviews. However, we do invite customers to leave a review after their trip, for example via an SMS.

I would like to travel with a group — is that possible?
Certainly. We offer sedans, station wagons, and passenger vans.
Group transportation to the airport is therefore no problem at all.Travelling with a larger group? Please contact us by email so we can tailor the transfer to your specific needs.
How quickly is a refund processed after cancellation?
For payments made via iDEAL or credit card, we refund the amount on the same day.
The processing time of our payment provider is up to 2 business days.
The amount is always refunded to the same account used for payment. For more information, please also refer to our terms and conditions page.
What if I forgot something in the taxi?
Our drivers check the vehicle for any left-behind items after each ride.
If we know who an item belongs to, we will contact you directly. You can also contact us at any time. We are happy to assist you in recovering your belongings. Collection after your trip is possible, or delivery can be arranged for a fee.
Do children need to use a child seat in the taxi?
By law, child seats are not mandatory in taxis. Nevertheless, LuchthavenExpress has a limited number of Maxi-Cosi baby seats, child seats, and booster seats available. If you indicate during your reservation that you would like to use one of these, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Additional charges apply for the use of these facilities.
Due to limited space in our vehicles and the varying availability of cars, we cannot guarantee availability. If it is not possible to provide a child seat, we will contact you in good time to discuss a suitable solution together.
How much time in advance should I be at the airport?
We recommend following the guidelines of your airline.
The time you specify during the booking is the moment the driver will pick you up.
Can I pay in different ways?
Yes. You can pay via iDEAL, credit card, or partially in cash in the vehicle.
Customers from Belgium can pay using Bancontact. Business customers can travel on account after approval. Please contact us for more information.
Will I receive an invoice for my ride?
